Yamaha offers a range of practical as well as aesthetic-enhancing accessories for the newly launched FZ-X
The recently launched Yamaha FZ-X marks the Japanese brand’s innings in the entry-level retro segment. In a bid to make the motorcycle a little more personalised, Yamaha offers a host of official accessories. While some of them enhance the bike’s aesthetics, others serve a more practical purpose. Take a look at the list of official accessories and their prices in the table below:
All these accessories are available at authorised Yamaha dealerships. The LED indicators are a bit on the expensive side considering you’ll have to buy two sets, which will cost you Rs 2,980. Other than the indicators, the rest are fairly easy to install. Interestingly, Yamaha does not offer a handlebar-mounted smartphone holder, which is odd because the motorcycle comes with a USB charging port right below the instrument cluster as standard. We would have also liked if Yamaha had offered an aluminium bash plate to swap with the stock plastic engine cowl. This would’ve come in handy while riding in the trails.

We hope Yamaha adds a range of road-legal exhausts for the motorcycle, perhaps in the future. It would be a welcome addition for retro motorcycle enthusiasts, wouldn’t it?
