Yamaha Introduces Female Rider Training Programme

Yamaha India recently launched their first scooter Ray in the country and now they have introduced an exclusive 'Female Rider Training Programme'. This new programme will help the company to attract urban young female riders, who are going to buy their first ride, which is also the potential buyer for the company. To involved this age group in the training programme Yamaha already started recruiting female trainers across the nation. A new TVC of the Ray is also creating hype these days featuring Bollywood icon Deepika Padukone, who is the brand ambassador for the Ray scooter.
The Yamaha Female Riding Training programme will commence very soon and will be available on Yamaha Motor's 400 dealers across India. However the company is planning to expand their dealership network to reach out more cities increasing its dealer network to 2000 by 2014. Yamaha is also planning to reach the rural India and for this they are also spreading their secondary network as well.
Along with the 'Female Riding Training Programme', Yamaha has also been organizing initiatives like the Yamaha Safe Riding Science Programs, R15 One Make Race Championships and the Sales & Service camps with good success.
