Yamaha Motors plan to Expand Production Capacity in 2012

With the New Year’s celebration coming to an end, the next thing in news...is the upcoming Auto Expo 2012 in New Delhi, there is some exciting rumors flowing in air that legendary two wheeler manufacturing company Yamaha Motors is speculating to explore its productivity during 2012. According to authentic sources of Yamaha, company is speculating to expand its production capacity to one million units during 2012. Yamaha Yzf R15 has been a popular bike of year 2011, priced Rs 107,000.
During last few months when every two wheeler manufacturing company was disclosing their future plans of action, Yamaha Motors was not disclosing any facets about its future engagements, but now according to reports from Yamaha, the sales have recorded an improvement from 34,896 units in month of December during 2010 to 44,976 units during same month in 2011. Encouraged with its speculative performance, Yamaha has started focusing on increasing their production capacity to achieve top position in Indian two wheeler market. It would be important to mention here that during November 2011, Mr. Suzuki, CEO, Yamaha Motors had said that company was passing through tough condition and may split by 2013 as an expansion plant. According to Mr. Suzuki assessing demand of Yamaha vehicles in concern, Yamaha speculates to sale out 10 lakh units in Indian two wheeler market till 2014.
Although, according to reports Yamaha Motors has not yet revealed the amount it will be investing in increasing its production capacity, neither it reveals any plan about their strategy to reach the objective of producing one million units during 2012. However, it is just a speculation by Yamaha Motors, the exact picture of produced units will be known only when the plan will be implemented in its original shape. Till then, let us wait and watch upon the upcoming upgrades by Yamaha Motors. But one thing is quite sure that this announcement of Yamaha Motors will inspire other two wheeler manufacturing companies to design their production strategies to cope with competition they will receive from Yamaha Motors.
