Yamaha MT-15-rivalling 2023 CFMoto 150NK Launched Abroad

Updates include two riding modes and dual channel ABS
Chinese two-wheeler manufacturer CFMoto has recently launched the updated 2023 iteration of its smallest naked bike, the 150NK in Australia. The latest version of the motorcycle offers the option of choosing between two riding modes, namely Eco and Sport, and also features dual channel ABS, compared to the single-channel ABS of its predecessor.
Visually there are no changes over the outgoing model, and the 150NK continues to feature a sharp bodywork Featuing a trellis frame, the bike also gets LED headlight, indicators and tail lamp, giving it a very youthful appeal. Overall, the bike shares a lot of its aesthetics from its bigger sibling, the 300NK.

Mechanically too, the bike remains the same as its predecessor. It is powered by a 149.4cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder motor (developing 14.5PS and 12.2Nm), mated to a six-speed gearbox. In comparison, the Yamaha MT-15 is powered by a 155cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that churns out 18.4PS and 14.1Nm.
The 150NK continues to remain suspended on upside down forks and a monoshock and is anchored by discs assisted by dual channel ABS. The MT-15 however only features a single-channel ABS.
The CFMoto bike is priced at AUD 4,290 (equivalent to Rs 2.36 lakh). Comparatively, the India-specMT-15is priced at Rs 1.60 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The 150NK is not expected to be launched in India anytime soon.
