Yamaha recently launched the 2022 MT-15 Version 2.0, an updated model of its popular naked motorcycle. The MT-15 V2.0 is priced at Rs 1,59,900 (ex-showroom Delhi), demanding a premium of Rs 13,000 over its predecessor. It gets a bunch of new equipment and features, however, if it still doesn’t work for you, check out these same-priced alternatives.
Pulsar RS 200 (Rs 1.64 lakh)
If performance is what you are looking for on a budget, then the Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 is the perfect alternative to the MT-15 V2.0 for you. It banks on the reliable 200cc liquid-cooled engine to maintain a balance of sporty performance and the ergonomics are forgiving enough for comfortable commutes.
Honda CB200X (Rs 1.46 lakh)
Other than a naked or a faired bike, you can also opt for an adventure-themed motorcycle with the Honda CB200X. The entry-level ADV is more affordable than the MT-15, however, it gets lower performance figures even with a bigger displacement engine. It also misses out on a Bluetooth-enabled instrument cluster. Despite everything, the CB200X is a good alternative for light trails and weekend rides.

KTM 125 Duke (Rs 1.70 lakh)
Apart from being a similarly priced alternative, the baby Duke is also the closest rival to the MT-15 Version 2.0. The KTM 125 Duke offers lower performance at a higher price, however, it is a great alternative for those who are keen on buying the most affordable KTM.
Suzuki Gixxer 250 (Rs 1.76 lakh)
By paying a premium of just Rs 16,000 more, you can get the Suzuki Gixxer 250. The naked motorcycle packs a bigger 250cc engine and churns out much more power than the MT-15. The Gixxer 250 produces about 8PS and 8Nm more than the MT-15 and also gets dual-channel ABS. On the features front, it gets a digital instrument cluster but no Bluetooth connectivity.
Bajaj Dominar 250 (Rs 1.64 lakh)
If you are looking for something that you can take on long rides, but at the same time can commute without hassle on the city roads with, then look no more. The Bajaj Dominar 250 is the perfect similarly priced alternative, producing 9PS more than the MT-15. It is a capable touring motorcycle with not just performance kept in mind but also the ride and comfort. To make the deal sweeter, it also gets dual-channel ABS.
