Yamaha offers a range of accessories to both the standard version and the R15M
Yamaha made waves in the 150+cc supersport segment with the launch of the new Yamaha R15 V4 and its sportier variant, the R15M. The two motorcycles also come with a range of official accessories that enhance both practicality and aesthetics. Here’s the full price list:
The accessory brake and clutch levers feature adjuster set screws to fine tune the reach for different hand sizes. It also gets an anti-slip surface for optimum grip. The lever guard helps protect the levers, and features foldable tips as well. It’s easy enough to install without requiring tools. While the USB charging port can be handy on long rides, you’ll have to buy an aftermarket smartphone holder (Yamaha doesn’t offer one) to use the port effectively. The frame slider looks properly sporty thanks to its shape and the R logo, and also fits quite well into the fairing. The skid plate just about covers the catalytic converter, ideal for protecting the exhaust from small debris and bumps.

Overall, the accessory list is pretty comprehensive for a sporty motorcycle, covering all the bases for a typical user. However we, as enthusiasts, wish Yamaha also offered the Daytona exhaust (as a track-only addition) which it did for the R15 V3. Even a set of stickier tyres as an accessory fitment could’ve gone a long way in enhancing the riding experience.
