Yamaha will be hosting a dealer meet on April 11
[UPDATE: Yamaha has launched the MT-15 Version 2.0 in India. From pricing to specs and features, check out the details in our launch story]
A ‘Block Your Date’ invite sent out by Yamaha India for April 11 is surfacing the internet. But sadly, this won't be a launch event. It is in fact for Yamaha dealers and letting them know what to expect from the Japanese manufacturer in 2022.
While we can only speculate, we think the first bike for Yamaha will be the new Yamaha MT-15. An update for the 150cc motorcycle has been long due. The 2022 version of the naked bike will most likely feature upgrades including a USD fork, Bluetooth connectivity and dual-channel ABS.

With the immense success of the Yamaha Aerox 155 performance scooter, there is a possibility that the Japanese auto manufacturer might introduce the NMax 155 to the Indian markets. The NMax 155 is a proper maxi-scooter, and is powered by the same VVA-equipped 155cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine as the Aerox 155.
Apart from that, Yamaha can also be expected to bring the YZF R3 and YZF R7 motorcycles to India exclusively to its Blue Square showroom network.
