Yaseen Ahmed Selected for Shell Advance Asia Talent Cup 2016

Yassen Kadai Ahmed, Indian rider has been selected for Shell Advance Asia Talent Cup 2016. The boy is among 13 riders to be chosen for the cup. The selection process took place at the Sepang International Karting Circuit, Malaysia where numerous riders from across the globe took part actively and rode customised Honda underbone scooters. The riders had to show their handling skills to a group of expert judges led by the director of the cup, Alberto Puig. Moreover, they were tasked to come up with setting the best lap times possible and also show their skills on handling the scooters.

At the event, Mr. Alberto Puig, Director of the Cup stated, “We are happy, we have some nationalities that could be in the lap times. This is important, and this gives us a better package for next year. From now on we will have to try to work with these kids during the winter and see how they join together with the guys that are already in the Cup.”
The competition seems quite tough and the final list will consist of 13 candidates along with the riders from 2015 edition of the Shell Advance Asia Talent cup that would also compete in the tournament.
