Yatindra Shirole Secures Fifth Position in the Malaysian Superbike Championship

Yatindra Shirole, an Indian Professional racer from Pune, secured the fifth position in the Pirelli Malaysia Superbike championship held at the Sepang International Circuit, Kuala Lumpur. He raced on a Honda CBR1000RR in the 1000cc Superbike B category and was able to score 53 points even after failing to score any points in the first two rounds. His achievement becomes commendable because he managed to come at the fifth spot in spite of dismal performance at the start.
The 26-year old racer was really pleased that he managed to acquire the fifth spot at the race despite him facing problems with the bike setup initially.

Earlier this year, we saw K Rajini, National Motorcycle Champion, winning First Pirelli Malaysia Superbike Championship title for India. He competed in the premier class of the 1000cc Superbike A category.
In the Pirelli Malaysian superbike championship, the best of Malaysian riders compete with the top riders from other countries in four different categories including 1000cc Superbike Championship, 1000cc Superstock Championship, 600cc Supersport Championship and Open 250cc Championship. It is a five round championship series held at the Sepang International Circuit, Kuala Lumpur.
