A couple of weeks ago, the Japanese auto Major Honda announced that the Supersport bike 1000RCV, which the company was about to showcase at the 2013 EICMA has been delayed due to some reasons.
President of Honda Motor Company, Takanobu Ito announced in September that the bike is definitely in the plans of Honda, but the bike will not be shown to the public at the 2013 Milan Motor Show. He said that the date for the launch has not yet been set and they will communicate the same once it's finalized.
Now, rumors are coming out that the Honda Powersports might unveil a new version of its supersport bike CBR1000RR aka Fireblade at the coming EICMA at Milan. The new bike will get a more powerful V4 engine, which will replace the existing 4-in-line. Other new technologies like traction control and accelerator Ride-By-Wire are already coming in the bike, which will remain the same. The company might give some cosmetic changes also to the bike for better aerodynamics.
However, we are still waiting for further confirmations on the same. So stay tuned with BikeDekho for more updates.
