Suzuki has just released a promotional video for one of their next year models, the Inazuma 250. The new bike is a semi-naked commuter especially designed for European markets to target newbie, who want to own their first ride. The South Korean two-wheeler manufacturer is also likely to launch this middle weight bike in Asian markets. Suzuki Two-wheelers India is struggling to sustain and need some really good bikes to make their way in jam-packed Indian two-wheeler industry. If Suzuki launches the Inazuma 250 in India then this new bike will be an open adversary for the Honda CBR250, KTM Duke 200 and likes. The Inazuma 250 is a naked bike and that is why this 250cc bike will be a low cost bike against its rivals Honda CBR250R and Kawasaki Ninja 250R.
The Suzuki Inzuma has been developed right from the sketch board unlike the the CBR250R and Kawasaki Ninja 250R, which are directly derived from sport bikes. Boasting a newly design liquid cooled SOHC in-line 2-cylinder engine with 6 speed transmission, the 2013 Inazuma 250 is expected to deliver around 24bhp and a good mileage. So, we are expecting the bike to find a lot of customers among the young and those looking for a powerful bike. The Inazuma 250 has been optimised for low to mid range speeds ideal for city and town traffic, whilst still being able to comfortably deal with any open roads.
The high-quality finish is carried throughout the bike using aluminium parts that not only makes the bike look good but also keeps overall weight down helping to increase performance, agility and economy. To compliment the great performance, the Inazuma 250 comes with hydraulic disc brakes both on the front and rear as well as a comprehensive instrument panel including a gear indicator, service reminder and 3-mode RPM indicator allowing you to select the gear change prompts that suits the type riding you require, including an economy mode for changing gear to achieve optimal fuel consumption.
We are expecting it to arrive by mid or late 2013, Suzuki might tag this 250cc naked bike with a little affordable price, so it can attract maximum buyers. We are expecting a price somewhere around Rs. 1.5 lakh, if Suzuki will price it intelligently then the bike can do well in Indian markets for sure.
