2016 Auto Expo: Benelli Tornado 135 (Exclusive Pics) Ahead of Official Unveiling

Barely a few hours into the 2016 Auto Expo and there are shocks and surprise reveals galore! As per exclusive information with BikeDekho, Italian manufacturer Benelli is kicking off its game-plan with its Tornado 135. There were expectations that the TNT15 would be showcased, but DSK-Benelli have gone a step further with this small-capacity model. Tornado 135 is a naked mini-bike with a catchy appearance and has been showcased in white colour. The bike will be available for sale in the country later this year and is expected to be priced at somewhere around Rs. 1.30 to 1.45 lac (ex-showroom).
Powering the bike is 135cc Single cylinder, 4 strokes, air cooled, 4 valves, double spark engine that is mated to a 5-speed gearbox and delivers a 12.42bhp of maximum power at 9000 rpm and a peak torque of 10.8Nm at 7000 rpm. Besides this, the bike also features Fuel Injection, Digital ignition, Wet Sump Lubrication.
T135 is fitted with 12-inch wheels and has an overall dimension of 1840 mm in length, 755 mm in width and 1025 mm in height. Also, it has a fuel tank of 7.2 liters capacity and has a seat height of 780 mm. Apart from this, the bike has a Step-up Seat/Split Seat, Pass Light, Electric Start and Engine Kill Switch.
The bike is equipped with a 220 mm and 190 mm disc brakes at the front and the rear. The suspension system is equipped with a 41mm telescopic fork at the front and swingarm assisted lateral shock absorber with spring preload adjustment type at the rear.
