2016 Kawasaki Ninja 250R Image Leaked

Catalog image of a motorcycle was leaked and this bike is likely to be the new Kawasaki Ninja 250R which is to be launched in 2017. An Indonesian website, warungasep.net has shared these images. The new Ninja might be a twin-cylinder motorcycle and could get ride-by-wire and slipper clutch technology. The design seems to be different from the previous models and the bike is expected to feature a new LED headlight setup. These changes may also be seen in Ninja 300 along with its 250cc model.

A new offering in the Ninja family, 2016 Ninja ZX-10R was recently launched globally at Sepang, Malaysia. The India launch of this bike is expected to take place by the end of this year. It is powered by a 998cc, 4-stroke, liquid cooled engine that comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The fuel injected mill generates 197.26bhp of maximum power at 13,000rpm with a peak torque of 113.5Nm at 11,500rpm. The motorcycle also features Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Engine Brake Control, Launch Control Mode, Quick Shifter and Sport-Kawasaki Traction Control. It will arrive in India as a Completely Built Unit (CBU) and is expected to be priced somewhere around Rs. 18 lac. When launched in India, this new Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R and Ninja 250R will add to existing Ninja lineup that consists of Ninja 300, Ninja 650 and Ninja ZX-14R.
