Triumph is working on the expansion of its Modern Classic range of motorcycles that is based on the iconic Bonneville. After launching the 2016 models of cruisers and cafe racers, now the company is planning to add a bobber and a tracker machine to the line-up. And the upcoming Triumph bobber has been spotted testing near Triumph’s design headquarters.

The Bonneville Bobber features a hardtail look with a hidden rear suspension like the popular Harley-Davidson Softail. However, it looks completely new and different from its rival. If we go into the detailings, the frame looks a bit different from the existing Triumph Modern Classic motorcycles. The suspension appears is a single-shock unit located beneath the solo seat with a triangulated swingarm pivoting just above axle height. The upcoming motorcycle features a teardrop fuel tank along with single seat and a wide handlebar for a very relaxed riding position.

The power mill of Triumph Bobber seems to be one of the engines that are powering the new Modern Classic range. So, it could be one of the new 900cc or 1,200cc motor that have been introduced for a better performance. You can also see a new exhaust set-up with the engine and that could sound interesting as it looks.

Front suspension and the braking system appears to be shared with the new Bonneville range, while the ratio of the front and rear wheel size looks higher in the upcoming Triumph Bobber. The bike is looking quite interesting and could be introduced sometime this year.

We can hope that like the 2016 Triumph Modern Classic motorcycles, the 2017 model will also arrive in India sometime next year.
