Triumph Tiger Explorer is one of the most promising adventure motorcycles on this planet. Now, 2017 model of the motorcycle has been spotted on trials in Europe, which is looking further advanced than the existing one. You can see some major cosmetic updates in the motorcycle, which will definitely serve some purpose.
Cosmetic changes of the 2017 Triumph Tiger Explorer includes redesigned body panels along with an electronically adjustable fly-screen. If you look at the frame and the engine of the upcoming model, it is exactly similar to the existing Tiger Explorer XC. The existing model comes powered by a 1,215cc, liquid-cooled, in-line triple-cylinder engine, which makes 135bhp of maximum power at 9,300rpm and a peak torque of 121Nm at 6,400rpm.
Equipment on the new model are looking advanced along with Brembo brakes instead of the Nissin units. Some reports also say that the 2017 model of the bike could get a semi-active suspension, which automatically adapts itself for the road surface, braking and acceleration according to the different riding modes. As the triumph has recently launched the 2016 model of the bike in some markets, we can expect the 2017 model to be introduced by late 2016.
Triumph Tiger Explorer is also available in the Indian market at a price of Rs. 18.75 lacs, however, it is the 2015 model. So, we can expect that the company will update it to the 2016 model soon, while the 2017 model could arrive in the market by mid-2017.
