2019 Kawasaki Ninja 650 Launched; Gets New Colour Option

With this addition, customers can now choose from three different colour schemes

Kawasaki India has announced the launch of the 2019 Ninja 650 in a new shade - Metallic Flat Spark Black. With this, customers now have the option to choose between three different colours - Kawasaki Racing Team (KRT), blue and metallic black. The Std variant, which can only be had in black or blue, is priced at Rs 5.49 lakh, while the Ninja 650 KRT edition is priced at Rs 5.69 lakh (both, ex-showroom Delhi). Bookings for the 2019 Ninja 650 are open across all Kawasaki dealerships in the country.

The 2019 Ninja 650 continues to be powered by a 649cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that churns out 68PS of power at 8000rpm and 65.7Nm of torque at 6500rpm. The motor comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox with the assistance of a slipper clutch. Additionally, the bike also comes equipped with the safety net of ABS apart from an Economical Ride Indicator.

MY19 Ninja 650 in black launched in India

India Kawasaki announces the launch of MY19 Ninja 650 in metallic flat spark black colour. With this launch, India Kawasaki now has three options in Ninja 650. Last year Ninja 650 was introduced in KRT edition and in blue colour edition, which were sold with a great success.

Speaking on the new addition, Mr. Yutaka Yamashita, Managing Director of India Kawasaki Motors, said “With this launch we are continuing a string of MY19 launches in India. In 650cc category we have four distinct motorcycles and Ninja 650 is one of them. We have observed a very stable demand for Ninja 650 in India at it comes with attractive price. I hope our Ninja 650 in metallic spark black achieves the same success as the other variants have.”

Powerful parallel twin engine with DOHC, 8 valve system and nimble handling have been the main forte of Ninja 650 always. Besides to give a versatility for daily riding or long touring, Ninja 650 has an upright riding position, low seat height and manageable power delivery. The features like ABS, Economical Riding Indicator, Assist and Slipper Clutch etc. give a boost to sporty riding excitement. MY19 Ninja 650 standard is available for INR 549,000 ex-showroom Delhi, while the prices of Ninja 650 KRT edition is INR 569,000 ex-showroom, Delhi. MY19 Ninja 650 is available in black and KRT edition and Ninja 650 in blue colour belongs to MY18.
