Kawasaki has unveiled the 2021 Ninja ZX-10R. The litre-class superbike gets a host of updates that includes new styling, Euro5-compliant motor and some additional features. We bring you all the details of the new Kawasaki superbike in our image gallery.
The 2021 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R has a new face which is similar to other bikes in the Ninja family and we feel it’s a bit polarising.
It features a split direct projection LED headlight from Mitsubishi and Kawasaki claims that “luminous optical modules” have been used for a road bike for the very first time.
The 2021 also gets integrated winglets that have added 17 per cent more downforce.
Kawasaki has also added a 40mm taller windscreen, lower rear seat and handlebar for better aerodynamics.
The 2021 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R gets updated with a 4.5-inch TFT unit with smartphone connectivity via Kawasaki’s Rideology App.
Powering the bike is a Euro 5 (BS6) compliant engine rated at 201PS and 115Nm of peak torque.
To improve acceleration, the bike features shorter gear ratios for first, second and third gears, along with a larger rear sprocket.
It receives electronic aids such as multiple riding modes, cornering ABS, quickshifter, launch control and a multi-level traction control system.
The Kawasaki superbike features a Showa Balance Free Fork but the spring rates have been softened at the front, while the rear is stiffer for improved rigidity.
The 2021 Ninja ZX-10R is offered in three colour options: Metallic Spark Black, Metallic Matte Carbon Gray and the KRT edition.
