Updates for 2021 include two new colour options
- Updated Euro 5 cruiser gets new black/blue and grey/black colours.
- The recently launched Vulcan S BS6 is already available with the grey/black paint scheme.
- Other than the new colours, the motorcycle doesn’t feature any cosmetic updates.
Kawasaki has released the MY2021 Vulcan S overseas. As part of its 2021 update, the Vulcan S comes in two new colours: black/blue and grey/black. Interestingly we already get the grey/black paint scheme in India with the recently launched Vulcan S BS6. Kawasaki could launch the new black/blue paint scheme in India at a later date at no extra cost.
Besides the new colours, the 650cc cruiser receives no other cosmetic or feature updates. It continues to use the same laid-back styling. Features wise, the cruiser feels spartan with halogen headlamp and a semi-digital instrument console. It does get 3-way adjustable footpegs, though, which riders can set according to their height and preference.
Power comes from an updated Euro 5/BS6 compliant 650cc liquid-cooled parallel twin motor. It continues to deliver 61PS while peak torque sees a minor drop- from 63Nm to 62.4Nm. It gets a six-speed gearbox.
The Kawasaki Vulcan S BS6 is priced at Rs 5.79 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. Check out more details about the mid-capacity cruiser here. In other news, Harley Davidson has quit India. You can check out more details here.
