The recently added colour schemes to the Continental GT 650 are absolutely gorgeous. Here’s what they’re all about
Royal Enfield recently introduced a new range of colours for the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 as well as the Interceptor 650. While we’ve already taken an in-depth look at the Interceptor 650’s, here’s what the Continental GT 650’s shades are all about:
Standard Colours (Rocker Red / British Racing Green)
Royal Enfield has gone back to basics with the Rocker Red colour scheme. Enthusiasts would recall this colour scheme was popular with the Royal Enfield Continental GT 535. But to differentiate it from its predecessor, the Rocker Red colour variant in the Continental GT 650 also comes with a twin white racing stripes on the fuel tank.
The British Racing Green colour scheme really takes you to the bygone era, as it was quite popular in the British motorsport scene back in the 20th century. It really fits the Continental GT 650’s cafe racer demeanour and is our favourite colour scheme of the lot. Moreover, you don’t really need to shell out extra for this classic racing-inspired livery either. Both the Rocker Red and the British Racing Green are priced at Rs 2,91,700 (ex-showroom Delhi).
Custom Colours (Ventura Storm / Dux Deluxe)
The previously-existing Ice Queen and Dr Mayhem have now been replaced with Ventura Storm and Dux Deluxe colour schemes. The former is essentially a more premium version of the previously-existing Ventura Blue colour scheme. This one gets a blue and black dual-tone colour scheme separated by a sleek white pinstripe on the fuel tank.
On the other hand, the Dux Deluxe is a combination of white and black with gold pinstriping and highlights on the tank logo. These two colour variants retail at Rs 2,99,830, Rs 8,130 more expensive than the standard colour variants. If you’re looking for a premium-looking yet retro-themed colour for the Continental GT 650, you could go with one of these. We prefer the Ventura Storm as its blue tinge really stands out.
Chrome (Mr. Clean)
Mr. Clean is all about that bling life, perfect for those who want a flashy colour scheme. Unlike the black racing stripe with yellow pinstripes in the previous iteration, the updated Mr. Clean colour variant comes with a British Racing Green racing stripe with yellow pinstripes. The ‘Royal Enfield’ Logo on the fuel tank also gets a yellow treatment for an added dose of premium quotient. This is also the most expensive colour variant, at Rs 3,13,368. That’s a whole Rs 21,668 more than the standard colour model.

All the colour variants now come with gaiters on the fork as standard. Except for the Dux Deluxe colour variant, the rest of the bikes roll on blacked-out spoke rims. You also get a minimalistic ‘R’ logo on the fuel tank on all the colour models except Rocker Red and Mr. Clean. Do you think the 2021 colour options are better than the old ones?
