The new-gen iQube is offered in a total of three paint schemes and here’s what what you need to know about them
TVS Motors launched the new-gen iQube electric in three new variants; the iQube standard, iQube S and iQube ST. You can read all about them here. Along with new features, all the three variants also get new colour schemes. The electric scooter is now offered in a total of 11 colours across 3 variants and here’s a closer look at each of them.
TVS iQube Standard
The standard variant of the iQube retails at Rs 98,564 (on-road Delhi, including FAME II and state subsidy) and is offered in three colours:
Titanium Grey Glossy
The Titanium Grey Glossy gives the scooter a rather stealthy look. This grey paint scheme coupled with the stylishly done white stripes on the spokes of the alloy wheel look gives the scooter an elegant look.
Pearl White
This colour goes well with the silent nature of an electric vehicle. The white bodywork contrasts pretty well with the black wheels, adding to the scooter’s premium appeal and uncluttered design.
Shining Red
The brightest colour of the lot is shining red. Since electric vehicles cannot be ‘ear-catching’, if you like your scooter to be eye-catching, this is the colour for you in the iQube standard’s lineup. Once again the black finish on the seat, wheels and floorboard contrast rather well with the red, making this a very attractive colourway.
TVS iQube S
At a price of Rs 1,08,690 (on-road Delhi), the TVS iQube S variant has four colour to choose from:
Mercury Grey Glossy
TVS has the Mercury Grey Glossy on offer to give the iQube S a really mature appeal. The glossy finish not only makes this classy, but also gives it a sleek look, something that’ll appeal to many.
Copper Bronze Glossy
If you’re looking for a completely out of the box colour scheme, you could consider the Copper Bronze Glossy. Such a colour isn’t commonly found on Indian streets and if you’re keen on exclusivity, this might be the one you like.
Lucid Yellow
The loud Lucid Yellow is the flashiest of the lot. If you want to turn heads and catch eyeballs when you pass, this colour is the one for you. That said, it’s not all loud, and the mixture of yellow and black does offers a pleasing contrast as well.
Mint Blue
Is the Lucid Yellow too loud for you? Then we reckon the Mint Blue could be a good middleground for you. The light blue finish makes it eye-catching, yet not overly loud, making it a rather pleasant colour to look at. So if you are the kind who likes to have a long parting gaze at the scooter after parking it, we think you might like this one.
TVS iQube ST
Titanium Grey Matte
While the standard variant got the Titanium Grey Glossy, the ST variant gets the Titanium Grey Matte. As the name suggests, it’s a tad bit darker than the Glossy paint scheme, giving it an even more discrete feel and look. We think even the white ‘iQube Electric’ badging blends into the design a lot better in this colour scheme than its glossy counterpart.
Starlight Blue Glossy
The Starlight Blue Glossy strikes a great balance between loud and subtle. The black finishes on its edges make it stealthy, and the rather neatly done dark blue paint job gives it good road presence as well.
Coral Sand Glossy
This is a rather sweet looking colour, as the Sand Glossy finish on the body and the mirrors isn’t a colour you often see on our roads. That said, this colour will also require that much more TLC when the scooter inevitably gets dusty in our harsh conditions
Copper Bronze Matte
This colour brings a lovely dark look to the TVS iQube. That along with the triple mix of bronze matte paintwork, black wheels and seat and white stripes on the wheel make this shade of the iQube very attractive indeed.
TVS has always offered plenty of superb colour options in their ICE scooters such as the Jupiter and the Scooty. And we’re really glad that they’re now doing the same for their electric offering as well
