(Update: the 2024 Bajaj Pulsar N250 has been launched in India at aprice of Rs 1,50,829 (ex-showroom Delhi). Here are the details.)
Bajaj Auto has officially announced the launch date of the 2024 Bajaj Pulsar N250, which is April 10, 2024. The bike has been spotted testing multiple times in the past giving us a good idea of what we can expect from this update.
The 2024 update will bring some interesting changes to the platform such as new colours, the addition of an inverted fork and a new fully-digital instrument console. The new instrument console is likely to be the same one used on the Bajaj Pulsar NS200, which is a fully-digital LCD console that brings features such as smartphone connectivity, Call/SMS alters and turn-by-turn navigation.
The console will also give real time readouts such as distance-to-empty (DTE) and instantaneous fuel efficiency (IFE) along with regular readouts like speed, tachometer readings, tripmeter and odometer readings as well.
With updates to the underpinnings, like the new inverted fork, we can also expect some positive change in the handling characteristics of the bike.
The update is unlikely to make any changes to the bike’s power and torque figures. The N250 will still be powered by the same 249.07cc air-/oil-cooled single-cylinder engine that produces 24.5PS and 21.5Nm.
The bike is likely to come at an expected price of Rs 1,58,978 (ex-showroom Delhi) which is a premium of Rs 9000. The N250 competes with other 250cc bikes in the streetfighter segment including the KTM 250 Duke and Suzuki Gixxer 250.
