Both bikes get a new negative LCD console with smartphone connectivity and LED headlight
The 2024 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 and Pulsar NS160 have reached dealerships ahead of their launch. Both the Pulsars feature a new negatively lit LCD console with smartphone connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation, which the updated Bajaj Pulsar N150 and Bajaj Pulsar N160 miss out on.
The digital cluster includes basic readouts like a speedometer, odometer, tripmeter, tachometer, fuel gauge, clock, and gear position indicator. Both bikes also get updated left side switchgear to navigate through the new digital console. Both the bikes come with an LED headlight DRL, indicators and taillight.
Apart from the updates mentioned above, both the bikes remain unchanged in terms of mechanicals, aesthetics and hardware. The Pulsar NS160 is powered by the same 160.3cc air-/oil-cooled single-cylinder engine that makes 17.2PS and 14.6Nm. The bigger sibling, the Pulsar NS200, comes equipped with the same 199.5cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that produces 24.5PS and 18.74Nm.
We expect both bikes to come at a slight premium of Rs 3,000 to Rs 4,000. For perspective, the Bajaj Pulsar NS200 is currently priced at Rs 1,49,363, while the Bajaj Pulsar NS160 costs Rs 1,36,736 (both ex-showroom Delhi).
