Triumph Motorcycles Ltd, a well-known name in the automobile industry, is planning to launch a series of learner-legal 125cc Triumph bikes. The UK company has been in the development of only heavy weight motorcycles, it's engine displacement range includes 300cc, 600cc, 750cc, 800cc, 1000cc, 1200 and 2294cc. It looks quite surprising that this massive machine maker is willing to enter in to this basic segment of bikes, but seeing great response in countries like Thailand Triumph might be launching these baby bikes.
It is to be noted that Triumph has announced to foray in India very soon with its iconic Triumph Speed Triple, Triumph Speed Master and Triumph America. The upcoming bikes are expected to be priced in the range of Rs 8 lakh to Rs 12 lakh.
Coming to the point, the new 125cc Triumph bike is reported to produced locally where the company has its manufacturing plants so that the pricing might be competitive. These small bikes were being spotted testing in the UK and Spain.
