Bajaj Auto might Launch a New Bike

Bajaj Auto, one of the top three bike manufacturers of India, is gearing up for for the introduction of an all new motorbike by the end of the month of June this year itself. The design and layout of the bike has been prepared right from the scratch. The estimated launch date (somewhere around in the month of June) was announced by Mr Rajiv Bajaj, Managing Director of Bajaj Auto. However, the detailed description and specifications about the bike have yet not been revealed by the company. They are expected to be declared to the public somewhere around in the month of May.

This year is going to be a very busy one for Bajaj Auto. Earlier, it had introduced the long anticipated KTM Duke 200 and after that , the Bajaj Discover was rolled out. Also, soon after the KTM Duke 200 was launched, the company gave a first look of the new Bajaj Pulsar 200NS to the customers. This bike is expected to be launched very soon (most probably this month itself). And now the company has plans to launch the secretive bike in the moth of June. As stated by Mr. Rajiv Bajaj, the company is expecting to achieve a sales figure of 1,00,000 units per month through the introduction of the all new Bajaj Discover.

Interestingly, if the company succeds in achiving this sales figure, it woulg gain a double digit increment in the sales of the brand discover. This in turn will make Bajaj Auto the leader of the 125 cc Indian bike segment in the financial year of 2013. In this attempt, the company is targeting a sale of around 5 million units. During the previous financial year the company achieved impressive sales of 4.35 million units.
