The latest model of Bajaj Boxer has started appearing on the web. Bajaj boxer was caught at the time of testing in the outskirts of Pune. Pictures were published on Velocity mag.
The craze of Bajaj Boxer's launch is on the heights. At this time the pictures caught while the test ride truly served the purpose. The model dose not look too different from the existing one. This model of Bajaj Boxer has lifted circular headlights and triangular tail lamp with respect to the current model.
The speedometer is shaped rectangular, similar to the one used in Hero Honda CD 100 SS. Though it is not going well with the circular designing of the model. The high mounted tank looks big enough to hold 12 liters of fuel.
The essential detailing include elongated seat, Saree guard and leg guard. These add effectively to its utility.
Talking about the old model of Bajaj Boxer, it had 111.66cc engine churning out a peak power of 7.7 hp at 7,000 rpm. This model of Bajaj Bower was launched in the year 1997 which effectively replaced the plain-looked Kawasaki 4S champion. Since 1997 Bajaj Boxer is on the list of favorite bike of youngsters. Certainly it has gain major brand loyalty which is certainly going to create an edge for the upcoming model of Bajab Boxer.
This new model is expected to have 125cc engine mated to a four-speed gearbox, sourced from the discontinued Bajaj XCD.
Bajaj is known for its pricing strategies and this time it may price the Boxer just below its 125 cc Platina Bike. Bajaj can cut down its production cost considerably by removing features like electric start or alloy wheels, which will certainly give it a grater price advantage.
Now the question arises....will this be Bajaj’s answer to TVS Max 4R? Well one can say this. TVS’s recent success in the vast rural market with the Max 4R has led Bajaj to mount a fresh assault in the entry-level 100 cc segment, which Bajaj used to rule once, with its plain-looking Boxer along with TVS’ Max R100. For small traders like milkmen and vegetable suppliers, the Boxer would surely be a step up from tiny mopeds like the Bajaj M80, which they have been riding so far to haul their goods.
With all excitement, Bajaj boxer's latest model is awaited having better features with additional style and comfort.
