Bajaj Champion – Motor Cycle Brand for new executive segments

If the reports are true, then India’s leading two-wheeler manufacturer, Bajaj Auto will introduce its new motorcycle brand in the executive segment as “Bajaj Champion”. Company’s new brand codenamed ‘Brand X’ is speculated to include models ranging from 125cc to 150cc.
There is a possibility that the company will introduce a 150cc machine under the new “Champion Brand” in March 2016 and this would be followed by the launch of 125cc bike launch. The all new 150cc machine of the Champion brand expected to be equipped with the same engine configuration as of Discover. But, the manufacturer will re-tune the mill for better fuel efficiency and performance.
According to the reports, Bajaj is planning to sell this all-new Champion brand motorcycle range along with the existing Discover series. Though, we are yet to get any confirmation in this regards from the manufacturer.
Bajaj Auto will be spicing up the upcoming Auto Expo with the launch of its new motorcycles. Along with this, the company will also be introducing its much-awaited and anticipated bike named as Bajaj Pulsar CS 400 on 1st February, just before the start of 2016 Auto Expo. In addition to this, the company is also planning to increase the sales figure of its Discover range to 70,000 units per month though they are selling 20,000 units per months.
Recently, Bajaj Auto has silently launched India’s most affordable bike Bajaj CT 100B and it is priced Rs. 31,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The bike is powered by a 9 9.27cc, 4-stroke, single cylinder, air-cooled motor that comes mated to a 4-speed gearbox.
