Bajaj Auto has discontinued three bikes from its popular Discover series. The company has ceased the production of Discover 100, Discover 100M and the Discover 125. Once, amongst the popular commuters, these motorcycles are discontinued due to drastic fall in the sales.
The Pune-based auto maker has also removed these bikes from their official website as well. Earlier, Bajaj Auto launched a large number of motorcycles under the Discover brand to cater the commuting needs of Indian consumers in a more contemporary way. However, the plan did not work and the company had to plug off certain motorcycles.

Now, Bajaj Auto is heavily depending on the CT100 and the Platina 100ES for its mass market. We had a word with some of the dealers, who has actually confirmed the information, but they will be selling these bikes till stocks last.
According to the reports, Bajaj has admitted that they couldn’t taste success with the multiple Discover bikes as expected. Therefore, the company will now focus on creating new segments through their performance bikes. Yesterday, Bajaj Auto launched the Avenger 150cc with the tagline “Feel Like God”. This is first cruiser motorcycle in the 150cc segment.
