India’s very own two-Wheeler giant Bajaj Auto recently brought into limelight its latest product, Bajaj Discover 125 ST, where ST stands for sports tourer. The listed price of this traveller motorcycle has yet not been confirmed and is put on hold for the official launch event, which will supposedly take place in the end of June this year. Sources have revealed that Bajaj Discover 125 ST price in India will be set nearly to Rs. 60,000, on-road Maharashtra. With this, Bajaj has again used its forte pricing strategy to achieve success. At the supposed price, Bajaj discover will be considerably cheaper than its competitors like Honda Shine, Honda Stunner, Hero Ignitor and Yamaha Gladiator 125.

In addition, new Bajaj Discover ST will offer better performance at the given price (seems so on paper). The robust machine will sport a 125cc DTSi engine accompanied by a four valve head, which is first of the kind in its class. The engine provides maximum power output of 13 PS with 9,000 rpm and peak torque of 11 Nm at 7,000 rpm, that leads to better acceleration and pick-up. The given torque figures are better than any of its rivals.

The bike comes with a 5 speed manual gearbox and has electric start. Although, the kick start has not been omitted and is there as a standard feature. Telescopic front forks and petal-type disc brakes fill the front while the rear has monoshock layout suspension, the another best feature in its segment alongside the drum brakes. Bajaj Discover 125 ST has a wheelbase of 1,305 mm, ground clearance of 170 mm and kerb weight of 124.5 kgs.
