Celebrating World Motorcycle Day Bajaj Auto has started professionally supervised group rides for Pulsar and the Avenger owners.
Today is World Motorcycle Day, and to celebrate the occasion Bajaj Auto has introduced two factory-backed riding communities for its customers. The first one is for Pulsar RS200 owners, christened ‘Pulsar Maniacs,’ and the second one is for owners of the Avenger range, named ‘The Avenger Gods’ (TAG).
The riding communities are free to join for the respective brand owners. Their highlights will be professionally organized rides, supervised by expert riders from the company and complete with safety gears and service / emergency support. Riding activities will be held on weekly basis and it will cover the entire range of group activities starting from breakfast rides to overnight and long distance rides. Initially, the communities are launched in 7 metro cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Pune, Hyderabad and Kolkata. However, its footprints will be further expanded in near future.
The long distance rides of the TAG community will be designed under the concept of FLG rides (Feel Like God) which will offer riding experiences to some of the most unusual and heavenly destinations of the country. The first FLG ride will flag off on 23rd June where a total of 15 Avenger riders will get an experience of riding from Chandigarh to Tirthan valley and back for a total of 700kms.
Commenting on the launch of the communities, Sumeet Narang , VP - marketing, Bajaj Auto said, “The group riding phenomena is taking off enormously, however, a large section of customers stay away from it because of safety considerations. As the market leader in the sports segment, we are committed to keep abreast of customer trends. We have now put in place all the required infrastructure to enable Pulsar RS 200 and Avenger customers to experience the fun of group riding in a safe and professional way”.
With this new initiative in the two-wheeler segment, Bajaj further strengthened its legacy as a customer oriented brand. Along with the launch of the new range of products in the recent past viz. the Pulsar RS 200 and the new Avenger range, the company is also giving a platform to its customers where they can get the best out of their machines.
