The updated bike is nearly Rs 9,000 more expensive than its predecessor
We already know quite a lot about the Bajaj Pulsar 220F. We know that its carburettor will be replaced by a fuel injection system, and we even know how much power its motor will produce once it adheres to stricter BS6 emission norms.
And though an official launch hasn’t taken place yet, we already know how much the updated bike is going to cost. Curious? Find out the price here. What we can tell you now is that the Pulsar 220F has begun to arrive at dealerships and deliveries have commenced.
Aside from the addition of fuel injection and an additional catalytic converter (the only visual clue to identify a BS6 variant), the rest of the motorcycle has remained unchanged. This means that all the underpinnings and dimensions are the same, except the weight, which is expected to go up by a couple of kilos thanks to the additional cat con.
Suspension duties are handled by a telescopic fork and twin shock absorbers, while disc brakes at both ends bring the bike to a stop. Single-channel ABS is standard. If you want to get your hands on a Pulsar 220F BS6, Bajaj dealerships have been accepting bookings since February, so head to your nearest one.
