The wait is finally coming to an end, with Bajaj Auto gearing up to launch the Pulsar 250F today.
The bike will be the highest-capacity motorcycle in the Pulsar lineup and feature an all-new design. Up front, it’ll get a unique headlamp setup with an LED projector flanked by twin brow-like DRLs. The silhouette, though, is similar to the iconic Pulsar 220F, thanks to the reworked semi-fairing.
Complementing the new design will be an updated feature list, comprising a semi-digital instrument cluster, LED illumination with LED indicators, wider split seats, and a new monoshock. It will get disc brakes at both ends with single-channel ABS as standard.
The Pulsar 250 will be powered by a new oil-cooled 250cc single-cylinder motor. While it won’t be as powerful as the NS200, it will be more potent and exciting than the Pulsar 220’s aging air-cooled 2V mill.
For what’s on offer, we think a price of around Rs 1.32-1.34 lakh would be ideal for the Pulsar 250F. At this price, it would go against the Suzuki Gixxer SF, Yamaha FZS-25, and the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V.
