The upcoming bike will be the largest displacement Pulsar to go on sale, though not the most powerful

Bajaj is all set to officially launch the Pulsar 250F in India tomorrow. A couple of official teasers and multiple test mule spy shots have already revealed some notable information about the bike.
The largest displacement production Pulsar offering will feature a half fairing and quite an aggressive front fascia. Keeping up with the modern-day standards, it gets LED illumination all around. The overall design seems sporty, to say the least.

While the engine details are scarce, it’s a no-brainer that the new Pulsar 250F will benefit from an oil/air-cooled 250ccmotor mated to a 5-speed gearbox. In terms of numbers, the Pulsar 250 will produce slightly more power and torque than the Pulsar 220’s motor that develops 20.4PS and 18.55Nm.
The underpinnings will likely be simple as well. It’s sprung by a telescopic fork and a rear monoshock, while the braking hardware comprises disc brakes front and rear with single-channel ABS. All these bits should help keep the costs in check.
We expect it to be priced around Rs 1.35 lakh (ex-showroom) which should make it one of the most affordable 250cc bikes available in the country. Its list of foes will include the Yamaha FZ25, Suzuki Gixxer SF and the Hero Xtreme 200S.
