The Bajaj Pulsar N125 is the newest entrant to the 125cc sporty commuter segment. It has got a more than decent features list and here’s a detailed look at them:
In terms of the console, the base LED Disc variant gets a smaller LCD instrument console with an LCD inset on the left and a negatively lit LCD screen on the right. The inset shows speedometer, odometer, and fuel gauge readouts while the screen shows tell-tale readouts such as turn indicators, a side stand indicator, and more. The top-end LED Disc BT variant gets a bigger LCD instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity for call and SMS alerts.
The LED Disc variant gets a kick starter and a self starter while the LED Disc BT variant gets an additional Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) which helps in turning on the engine silently. It also shuts off the engine when it idles for more than a set duration of time and restarts the engine when the clutch lever is pulled again. Features common between both variants include an LED headlight with DRLs and an LED taillight.
The Bajaj Pulsar N125 is powered by an all-new 124.59cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 12PS at 8,500rpm and 11Nm at 6,000rpm and is paired to a 5-speed gearbox. The suspension setup consists of a telescopic fork and a monoshock. Its prices range between Rs 94,707 to Rs 98,707 (ex-showroom). Its rivals are the TVS Raider 125, Honda SP 125, and the Hero Xtreme 125R.
