Bajaj Pulsar NS400 Spied Before Its Launch On May 3: Clearest Images Yet

New images of the upcoming Bajaj Pulsar NS400 have surfaced online ahead of its May 3 launch. These are the clearest images yet and showcase the bike’s profile. The Pulsar NS400 looks sporty and sharp overall, there are hints of the smaller Pulsar NS200 in it too.

The leaked image is of a black bike with red and white graphics. There is a loud ‘NS’ graphic on the fuel tank and it also has NS400 stickers on the headlight and tail section. The bike gets red rim stickers, it has faux vents on the side panels to add to its sporty character. The ‘biggest Pulsar ever’ gets a single-piece handlebar with adjustable brake and clutch levers.

Meanwhile, an image of the Pulsar NS400’s colour LCD unit with TFT inset for navigation also leaked online. The image confirms that the bike will get traction control along with four riding modes: Road, Sport, Rain and Off-road. The turn-by-turn navigation icons could be located where ‘Let us Ride’ is written on the right side of the console. Moreover, the upcoming NS400 also gets Bluetooth connectivity with call and SMS alerts, and phone battery and signal indicators.

The bike likely sits on the NS200 chassis. It gets an all-new floating front disc with axially mounted callipers, different from the braking setup on the Dominar 400, smaller NS models, or any KTM bike. Additionally, both front and rear disc brakes are accompanied by Grimeca brake callipers and come with dual-channel ABS.

The Biggest Pulsar Ever Teased A Day Before Its Launch

Bajaj has also teased the upcoming Pulsar NS400 just a day before its launch on May 3. The manufacturer teased the ‘biggest Pulsar ever’ with the caption – “Let there be Carnage!” This also opens a possibility for the red colour variant to be called ‘Carnage Red’.

The teaser shows the LED projector headlight with lightning-bolt LED DRLs (daytime running lights), and LED indicators. The Bajaj Pulsar NS400 gets a split seat setup with split grab rails. The rear-view mirror seems to be borrowed from the Bajaj Dominar 400. The teaser also shows the gold-finished inverted fork and gas-charged monoshock.

The Bajaj Pulsar NS400 is expected to be priced at around the Rs 2 lakh mark, positioned below the Dominar 400, which costs Rs 2,30,815 (ex-showroom Delhi). As a cheaper alternative in the 400cc segment, it will compete against the  KTM Duke 390, Triumph Speed 400, TVS Apache RTR 310 and the Husqvarna Svartpilen 401.
