Bajaj Pulsar RS400 is all set to be launched by Early 2016

Bajaj Auto is well­known for its commuter and sports motorcycles. The company has launched its three robust and stylish bikes in India this year that are, RS200, AS200 and AS150. Now, the company is all set to serve the country with its next big launch, “Pulsar RS400 bike” in early 2016, which was first showcased in 2014 Auto Expo. It is expected to be priced at around Rs. 2 lac.

Bajaj Pulsar RS400 will be sold under the company’s new “race sports” category, which was launched with the all new RS200. The bike comes with an elegant front fairing, twin projector headlamp, newly designed fuel tank, split LED tail lamps, analogue tachometer, digital speedometer, and a new small screen. The machine mostly looks same as Bajaj Pulsar RS200. Furthermore, the motorcycle also sports an ABS sticker at the front fork, that confirms that the vehicle will also come equipped with Anti­Lock Braking System (ABS).

The motorcycle will be powered by the same 375cc, liquid­ cooled, fuel injected, 4­ stroke engine that is used to serve its close sibling KTM Duke 390. The engine will generate a maximum power of 43Bhp along with a peak torque of 35Nm. Besides this, the motor also comes with the Bajaj’s patented triple spark technology and it uses a six ­speed gearbox to transmit the power to the rear wheels.

Pulsar RS400 also features the disc brake that offers sound stopping power. To enhance the comfort level, it will also sport the suspension system which includes telescopic fork at the front and mono shock setup at the rear end.
