It has received redesigned fuel tank, side panels, rear panels, tail lamp and seat along with a new full-body fairing and twin projector headlight. Under-belly type exhaust of the bike has also been replaced by a sporty side-slung type and the rear grab rails have been eliminated from it.
The new Bajaj Pulsar RS200 shares the same 199.5cc, 4-stroke, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor with the 200NS, which makes 23.17bhp of maximum power using triple-spark technology. The 4-valve engine comes mated to a 6-speed transmission and delivers torque upto 18.3Nm.
