DSK Motowheels has already launched 5 Benelli superbikes in India, which are getting a great response from the customers. Now, the company is planning to bring the most affordable motorcycle from the fleet of the Italian manufacturer. In a recent interaction with us, Mr. Shirish Kulkarni, Chairman, DSK Motowheels, confirmed that the company is going to launch the Benelli TNT 25 by the end of this year.

He told us that the DSK Benelli is bringing 2 new models displacing between 250cc - 600cc and one of them will be TNT 25. As the company is expecting a good hike in their sales after launching the new motorcycles, it is also planning to expand its dealer network in the country. The company is aiming to open outlets in multiple cities of different states in India. The latest dealership has been opened in Jaipur, Rajasthan, and the next has been planned for Jodhpur.

The Benelli TNT 25 is an all new naked-sport styled motorcycle and it is not sharing the engineering with the TNT 300. The newly developed platform has helped the company to cut the cost of this premium motorcycle and it is expected to be launched at a price tag of around Rs. 1.75 lac. Powering the bike is a new 249.2cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, which has been tuned to make 24.15bhp of maximum power along with a peak torque of 21Nm. It comes mated to a 6-speed transmission and uses an electronic fuel injection system.

Bolted on a trellis frame, Benelli TNT 25 features inverted telescopic forks and mono-shock suspension at the rear. It has multi-spoke alloy wheels, both of which are equipped with disc brakes. Other premium features of the motorcycle include digital-analog instrument cluster, meaty tyres and much more.

According to Mr Kulkarni, the Benelli superbikes are excellent in quality as well as performance and comes with a trust of their 100 years of existence. However, they also believe that the biggest reason of Benelli’s success in India is their aggressive pricing offered by DSK Motowheels. All these motorcycles are sold in India via CKD route and the company is not planning to start local production of any motorcycle right now.
