Gladly the price hike isn’t by a huge margin
Since the last price hike in August 2021, BMW Motorrad has yet again increased the prices of its most affordable twins, the G 310 R and G 310 GS, by Rs 5,000 in March 2022.
The naked streetfighter from BMW now costs Rs 2,65,000 and its adventure twin retails at Rs 3,05,000 ex-showroom Delhi. Despite this being the third price hike of both the bikes since their launch in India in July 2018, they are still relatively more affordable considering that their initial launch price was Rs 2.99 lakh for the BS4 naked bike while the ADV retailed at Rs 3.49 lakh.

The prices of other bigger models by the company have stayed the same for this month. Both the Baby Beemers are powered by the same 313cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine producing 34PS and 28Nm. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and features a slip and assist clutch.
The G 310 R rivals the likes of the KTM 390 Duke (Rs 2.87 lakh) and Honda CB300R (Rs 2.77 lakh), whereas the G 310 GS goes up against the Royal Enfield Himalayan (Rs 2.14 lakh) and KTM 390 Adventure ( Rs 3.28 lakh) all prices ex-showroom Delhi.
