BMW K 1300 R might book India berth

BMW Motorrad, a famous luxury bike maker, is all prepared to launch BMW K 1300 R bike in India berth very soon. According to sources this ultimate bike may be brought to India with BMW's other bikes including BMW K 1300S, BMW K 1300 GT, BMW K 1600 GT, BMW R 1200GS and BMW S 1000RR. The company's chief official confirmed the launch of the bikes at the end of last year, in a BMW car launch function in India.

BMW K 1300 R is a top class Urban bike from BMW Motorrad; the urban bike comes loaded with a Water-cooled, 4-stroke in-line four-cylinder-engine, four valves per cylinder, two overhead camshafts, dry sump lubrication powertrain with 1293cc displacement. This powerhouse of the motorcycle is able to produce at top power of 175 hp at 9250 rpm and develops a top torque of 140 Nm at 8250 rpm via a six speed gearbox. The BMW K 1300 R can allow you to speed up over 200 kmph.


The upcoming stunning bike from BMW will have twin disc brake at front and single disc brake at rear with BMW Motorrad Integral ABS (part-integral). The bike is sure to have 17 inch wheels along with fatter tyres that will allow to get greater speed on highways without any chance of skidding. You need not to worry about the bike's mileage as other heavy bikes; it has a big 19 litres of fuel tank. As per recent updates, the BMW K 1300 R will carry a price tag somewhere around Rs 15 lakh.
