BMW Motorrad brings out two-millionth bike

May 6, 2011 will always be remembered as a milestone, setting this day in the history of legendary Motor Bike manufacturing company BMW Motorrad because it was 88 years back on the same day the corner stone of this legendary company was laid. And, since then the company endeavors hard to upgrade its BMW series motorcycles with updated technological specifications without making any compromise with quality and reliability. The legendary BMW Motorrad overcame all obstacles that hindered its way to progress or its production whether it was a crisis during the World War II or any other natural calamity, the company never let its productivity affected because of any reason whatsoever.
The second reason that makes this day more graceful is that it was on the morning of May 6, 2011 when the legendary bike manufacturing company rolled out its two-millionth bike from its manufacturing plant located in Spandau, Berlin. It was in 1969 that the company started production from this plant and exported its famous bike to 130 countries of the world. At present, BMW produces wide range of BMW series bikes with its brand name. The most famous bikes from BMW Motorrad are BMW S, BMW R,
BMW K1300S, BMW K, BMW R 1200GS, BMW S 1000RR, BMW K 1600GT.
Klaus Wowereit, Governing Mayor of Berlin was reportedly invited specially to grace the occasion. The major attraction of the glorious event was the demonstration of special edition of BMR R1200 GS Bike from BMW Motorrad which was manufactured at the same Berlin Plant. Another renowned celebrity invited to grace the occasion was none other at Chris Pfeiffer, recognized as ‘Stunt God’ by the bike lovers who ride bike as a passion. Pfeiffer said that he is feeling proud to be the part of such an important event by the legendary company. His presence made the occassion more attractive.
