Roland Sands Design showed their exclusive customising potential by extensively working on the BMW Concept 90 back in 2013. BMW took notice and started working closely with RSD for making specialised parts for Motorrad customers. Now the cooperation will allow customers worldwide to purchase special parts from Roland Sands Design.
The huge special parts bin is for the R nineT and will be available from February next year. Custom parts such as engine breast plate, valve covers, oil filler caps, the so called flat out Enzo seat, a gauge housing, a headlight bezel, rear axle plugs and many other perfectly manufactured parts will express the true nature of the R nineT.
The radial engine breast plate replaces the stock plastic part on the air-cooled boxer engine improving upon the aesthetic beauty and easing air flow to keep the engine vented cool. The beautiful RSD Enzo and Boss seats offer superior fitting and detail on the stitching.
Another cool upgrade is the RSD radial gauge housing replacing the stock plastic with a fine contrast cut billet aluminium improving the rider’s view and comes in UV protective finish.
