BMW Motorrad to Initiate its Motorcycle Sales in India by December 2010.

Finally the most awaited bike series of BMW Motorrad is all set to bash the Indian markets by the end of this year. BMW Motorrad has finalised the names of its official dealers which will take care of the sales of its products. The first official importer is Deutsche Motoren which is based in Delhi. Deutsche Motoren will be responsible forsales in North regions of Idian. The other official importer is Navnit Motors. This importer will be handling the sales activities in the southern parts of the country. Navnit Motors is also having a branch in Banglore, which will help it cover the southern region with more efficiency.

Overall, the German based bike manufacturer will be having three sales outlets in India which will cover the entire sales of the company. With this step, the company is adding a new milestone in the journey of success. The selection of these two outlets is based on the major areas covered by them. The purpose was to reach the most lucrative destinations in Indian markets.

German bike king is known for its market strategies and this initiative makes the fact more evident. BMW Motorrad is known for its premium bike. It has manufactured bikes in various segments including sports, sports touring, touring, enduro and touring. The production process of these bike will be conducted in the BMW Motorrad plant in Berlin and will be made available in Indian markets as CBU (completely built up) units.

The first launch of BMW Motorrad will be from its R and K series. It will be also accompanied by the Superbike S 1000RR. The premium model from each series will be brought in India. This company is known for producing the best of large-volume 4-cylinder motorcycles. They are considered to use the best of technology in this stream. These bikes give superior engine output and high innovation in technology. The R and K series will also assure a high standard of safety to the rider. S 1000 RR, was rated as the most admired sports bike in the motorcycle season 2010.
