The German auto major, BMW Motorrad unveiled its new Roadster Concept at the Villa d'Este. This amazing naked sport styled motorcycle looks more unique compared to the other machines in the segment. It gets a maximum mass forward design, which makes it more aggressive in appearance.
2014 BMW Concept Roadster takes its power from the popular 1170cc Boxer-Twin, which delivers 123bhp of maximum power along with a peak torque of 92Nm. A unique shaft drive transfers the torque from the gearbox to the rear wheel. Bolted on a very light weight tubular space frame, which further helps it to perform more efficient. The bike receives highly minimised body work, having almost nothing over the rear wheel apart from a thin seat.
Front of the bike gets a masculine fuel tank and a single-piece wide handlebar, providing a perfect street sport riding posture. Edgy tank flap enhances the wildness of this bike and the head covers with yellow 'R' moniker increases its sportiness. A custom style 2 in 1 exhaust pipe ends below the rear seat, which also contributes to its aggression.
The bike sports inverted telescopic forks at the front, while rear gets an advance adjustable mono-shock suspension with single sided aluminium swing-arm. Sporty split-spoke alloy wheels of the new BMW Roadster concept gets Brembo powered dual discs at the front and a single disc at the rear to provide extremely efficient braking system.
