Gets a redesigned seat, new grab rails and gear position indicator, but no price hike
Hero MotoCorp has launched the 2022 iteration of the Xtreme 160R with minor updates, though these upgrades aren’t accompanied by a price hike. This bike is available in three variants and continues to retail from Rs 1,17,148 (ex-showroom Delhi).
The 2022 Xtreme 160R now features a gear position indicator on the instrument console on all variants. This feature was earlier available only on the Stealth edition. Additionally, it gets a revised design for the seat along with a new pillion grabrail for increased comfort.
Apart from the above updates, everything else remains unchanged. The 2022 Xtreme 160R continues to be powered by a 163cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, good for 15.2PS and 14Nm, paired to a five-speed gearbox. Suspension hardware includes a 37mm telescopic fork and a preload-adjustable monoshock, and it comes equipped with 17-inch alloys.
