It is the most affordable 125cc bike in India
Bajaj has launched the CT 125X silently in the market at an attractive price tag of Rs 71,345 (ex-showroom Delhi). This makes it around Rs 5000 more expensive than its smaller sibling, the CT 110X. Here is all that the bike gets.
In terms of appearance, the CT 125X gets a rather rugged design language with some retro appeal. It gets a round halogen headlight unit with a V-shaped LED DRL on its front cowl, fusing old school with modern.
While it also feels like a proper commuter thanks to its minimal body panels, the motorcycle also features thick crash guards, fork gaiters and a large grab rail for its ‘X’ brand identity. The bike gets three attractive graphic colour options for a slightly sporty appeal: red, green and blue.
Powering the CT 125X is a 124.4cc air-cooled engine capable of 10.9PS and 11Nm. The motor is paired to a five-speed gearbox.

In terms of underpinnings, the CT 125X features a telescopic fork and dual shock absorbers suspension setup. For braking, it gets a 130mm drum setup at both ends on the lower variant, and features a 240mm disc up front on the higher variant. This commuter rolls on 17-inch alloy wheels.
The CT 125X features an analogue instrument cluster, a USB charging port and an LED DRL on the cowl. Apart from that, the commuter does not come packed with any fancy equipment or features.
In the 125cc commuter segment, the Bajaj CT 125X will go up against the likes of Hero Super Splendor and Honda Shine and is the most affordable 125cc bike in India.
