It gets half fairing as well as remotely-adjustable shocks
A test mule of the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 has been spotted with monza fairing and remote adjusters for its twin shocks. With that, Royal Enfield could be aiming to bring out a road-going iteration of the Continental GT-R 650, its race bike.
As a result of the fairing, though, the clip-ons have been lowered, resulting in a more committed position. So we hope Royal Enfield also repositions the footpegs for a sportier riding position. The mirrors are now handlebar-mounted units, further accentuating the bike’s cafe racer, retro appeal.
While the test mule seems to be the same underneath, it is seen with remote adjusters for its twin shocks, something we hope Royal Enfield carries over to the production bike as it would make fine-tuning the suspension that much easier.

2022 Royal Enfield Continental GT-R 650 Modifications Explained In 5 Pics
Royal Enfields have always been almost infinitely customizable, and the Continental GT 650 is no different. Given how many custom shops offer different kinds of fairing for the cafe racer, Royal Enfield could have decided to offer this as an accessory. The fairing, hence, could be offered as an accessory, or as standard on the top trims. If Royal Enfield does decide to offer both the fairing and suspension adjustability, it could command a premium of about Rs 15,000.
Interestingly, a mule of the cafe racer was also spied with alloys and a new tail lamp a couple of months ago, so our guess is the Chennai-based bikemaker could be looking to update its 650cc platform, especially with the Super Meteor 650 and Shotgun 650 coming soon.
