Get ready for a callback to the yesteryear this September
After a whole lot of anticipation and lots of spy shots later, Royal Enfield has finally teased the next-gen Bullet 350 and sent us a 'Block Your Date' invite. The confirmed launch date for this new model is set for August 30, 2023. Based on the teaser, there are hints that an old Royal Enfield badge might be reintroduced for this particular motorcycle.
The iconic Bullet 350 is undergoing a refresh to cater to the demands of the modern era. As it has been spotted on various occasions, we already have some insights into its features. The motorcycle will be equipped with the same J-series 349cc engine found in the Classic 350, Meteor 350, and the Hunter 350 models. For comparison, the engine in the Classic 350 produces 20.2PS of power and 27Nm of torque. The bike will have a disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear.
From one of the instances when the bike was spotted, we got a closer look at its design, revealing that the classic silhouette of the legendary Bullet has been retained. The new version will sport larger fenders and a wide single-piece seat, in contrast to the fenders and split-seat setup seen in the Classic 350.
The current on-road price for the Royal Enfield Bullet 350 model is Rs 1,93,679 in Delhi. It is expected that the new model will have an ex-showroom price of around Rs 1.80 lakh, making it approximately Rs 12-15,000 more expensive than the existing model. Once launched, it will compete with rivals such as the Yamaha FZ-X and the Kawasaki W175.
