Funnily, it’s called the BMW Bullet plan

BMW Motorrad seems to want to set things right with the BS6 versions of the G 310 R and G 310 GS. These updated bikes will still retain their premium quotient but could see a dramatic reduction in prices. Before it reveals the prices though, which should happen soon enough, BMW has announced a new finance scheme, the BMW Bullet plan. The name does sound a bit hilarious but what it essentially entails is that you could buy the G 310 siblings at Rs 4,500 per month. More details regarding the duration of the plan and ROI are yet to be known.

What we know so far is that the G 310 R and G 310 GS will be getting new LED headlights. That has been quite evident since the first round of spy images surfaced in March. The teasers have only gone ahead and confirmed their existence. Besides that, BMW is unlikely to change any design bits on the motorcycle.

Under the skin though, the 312cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine would have received a lot of little updates to rid them of the harsh vibes. The last set of spy shots, when they were being tested in India, sort of confirmed that the G 310s would also be shifting to ride-by-wire technology. Sadly, there won’t be any engine modes or different levels of ABS intervention on the BMW 310s like on the Apache RR 310.

The G 310 siblings will be launched by the end of the month at a significantly lower price. Expect the bikes to receive a price cut of Rs 30,000 to Rs 50,000, making them more attractive.
