The BS6-compliant Royal Enfield Classic 350 S has started reaching dealerships, hinting a possible launch in a few weeks. According to our dealer sources, the entry-level BS6 Classic 350 is priced at Rs 1,55,375 (ex-showroom), making it around Rs 10,000 more expensive than the older model. In terms of changes, there isn’t much to report. Apart from the updated engine, the rest of the motorcycle remains the same as the BS4 variant. The 346cc motor, in the dual-channel ABS variant, pumps out 19.3PS compared to the previous model’s 20PS, but the 28Nm torque figure remains the same.
As you might have guessed, the major difference between this lower-spec variant and the top-end Classic 350 is the braking hardware. While the base variant gets single-channel ABS, the top-spec variant gets dual-channel ABS. Apart from that, there are a few cosmetic updates. That’s about it.
