Update: We have ridden the CFMoto 650NK. Read the road test review here.
We might see it as soon as the end of 2019!
- CFMoto says the all-electric bike will be based on the 300NK.
- Expect it to be as feature-rich and performance-oriented as the 300NK.
- It might be India’s most premium electric two-wheeler offering.
On the sidelines of the launch event, CFMoto India confirmed that it’s working on an all-electric offering. While information is still pretty scarce, officials have confirmed that it’ll be loosely-based on the recently launched 300NK and could be unveiled as soon as December this year.

So, what can we expect from it? From the looks of it, the electric motorcycle will carry design elements from the 300NK. So expect it to be a street naked model with a chiselled bodywork and an aggressive appearance. A conventional-looking offering, it will be not.

When speaking about range and performance, the company also confirmed that it will primarily be focusing on extracting more mileage out of its batteries. While it's still soon to tell, we expect to see numbers higher than the Revolt RV400 which has an ARAI-certified range of 156km.

Furthermore, the company also confirmed that the electric motorcycle will be brought here as a CKD offering. Since there are no battery manufacturing companies in India yet, they will have to be imported. Hence, bringing the bike through the CKD route and not as a CBU might help keep costs in check.
So when can we expect it to arrive at CFMoto’s showrooms? We believe it won’t be before the next 18 to 24 months. This timeline will also help the company establish its charging infrastructure across the country.
Meanwhile, CFMoto is now earing up to launch three new bikes - the 400NK, 400GT And the 300SR - at the 2020 Auto Expo.
